#plv-spike-v11는 reporter & accessory protein을 encoding 하는 plasmid와 co-transfection 시 SARS-CoV-2 Spike (S) protein을 이용한 lentiviral particle pseudotyping을 위하여 설계되었습니다. 
#pLV-SpikeV11는 Omicron variant (B1.1.529/BA.1)의 full-length Spike sequence를 encoding 하며, 최적의 발현을 위하여 codon-optimized 및 C‑terminal ER-retention signal이 제거되었습니다. 

Gene Description 
#plv-spike-v11은 2021년 남아프리카공화국에서 처음 보고된 SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant의 Spike protein을 encoding 합니다. Omicron Variant (B.1.1.529/BA.1)는 Clade 21K/ B.1.1.529(BA.1) 계통 (Nextstrain/Pango lineage classification) 으로 분류되며, Spike coding region에 여러 돌연변이가 존재하는 것을 특징으로 합니다. 그 중 아래와 같은 돌연변이가 주목됩니다.
